How to increase thump in Royal Enfield?
About 80% of Royal Enfield UCE owners have same question in their mind that “How can i increase the thump in my new Royal Enfield UCE?”
Due to exhaust emissions, pollution norms and taking care of international standards for export models Royal Enfield Developed an engine inspired from International Market. The Unit Construction Engine which is a Euro IV compliant engine.However, as exhaust emissions get tighter by the day, so do the noise limitations. In order to achieve both and do so comfortably, the modern Enfield has an engine of unit construction (engine & gearbox in one unit).
Right from the design itself, it is supposed to provide more refinement (meaning less noise and vibration).
So, to only way to increase the thump in Unit Construction Engine Is the Short Bottle free flow silencer which traditionally came with the Standard Bullet since we’re seeing bullet on indian roads.
Short Bottle is a perfect fit for new engines as well as the older ones as it has some kinda relation with The Bullet. You can install any silencer on your bull but none can satisfy you as the Short Bottle.
One can also go for Goldstar/Indore Silencer as they are know for there quality built and quality sound.

Before installing the Short Bottle/Goldstar/Indore Silencer make sure that your bullet has completed few thousand kilometres. After installing a short bottle you’ll obviously need to rejet your BS29/UCAL carburetor if UCE or Mikuni VM-24, VM-28 if CI engine for consistent performance.
Visit the Service Center or Consult a mechanic for rejetting of carburetor.

I am a huge fan of Royal Enfield bikes and their thump.Its a great information of silencer shared here.Royal Enfield is India's pride in heavy bike segment.

What are the precautions that needed to be taken for fitting the short bottle on classic 500. Since classic 500 is FI i think that it doesnt have the carburetor..
I hve a classic 350. Is it compuLsory to rejet d carburettor after changing to goldstar silencer. Which is a better silencer for classic 350 goldstar or short bottle ?

you can directly fit the short bottle into the Classic 500….
but go for a free flow silencer after all the services or almost 10,000 kms…

Yes it is compulsary to rejet the carburetor si that engine runs smoother and sufficient amount of petrol and air reaches into the combustion chamber….!
I purchased a new bullet electra 350 7 days back. I want the original bullet sound, as i am not hapoy with the new company fitted silencer. Can i go for short bottlet silencer without lossing comapny warranty??? Please help me in this matter.
let your bull complete all the company services then go for it to maintain a better performance….!
I have an 350 uce……i am planning to install short bottle……nw i have done second service……my doubt is that , is that effect my millege…..? can u mension the correct time to change scliencer…? what is rejetting of carburetor ? also i m planning to install two spoke alloys….some body saying that the two spoke alloys will change the allignment very faster and we have to alline all the time…is that true ? i hope you will give a suitable suggesion for me….with respect liju….

Liju Ullas: The jets in a royal enfield carburetor are adjusted to make the bike more efficient. After installing a silencer if a bike is getting too much fuel and not enough air we can only adjust the fuel and not the air with the screw outside the carburettor so we reduce the size of the jet from the current size. If the bike is running too lean we increase the size of the main jet .

i own new thunderbird 500..got it 20 days back..n m not liking the thump.. So..i want to increase the thump volume as well as thump quality(so that aawaaz fate nahin )..not just the sound volume of my bike..plzz suggest me a silencer which will suit my bike best..
